Who else feels like 2020 was two seconds ago? Fall is here and 2022 is just around the corner. Despite the shock, we’re embracing every second of this almost sweater weather. Read on to see what we’ve been up to these last few weeks.
Obsessed with: New York City
I may be partial since it was my home for over a decade, but there’s something magical about this time of year when Central Park starts to turn to bright orange, yellow, and red. By nature’s own design, it’s one of the BEST before + after reveals I look forward to every year. Lucky for us, we have been running around Manhattan a lot lately—working on four exciting projects and showing my team some of my favorite NYC spots. After all, as my former hometown, this city holds a dear spot in my heart.
Project of the Month: Noho Project
Speaking of NYC, we were thrilled to install the first of four NYC projects we are working on. Many months in the making and after many backordered items, due to covid delays, we were able to bring 90% of all the moving pieces together for installation. (Still waiting on fabric + wallpaper – but we didn’t let that stop us!)
We were called upon to create a calming modern coastal aesthetic mixed with a chic city vibe. This stunning residence at 40 Bleecker, a new luxury condominium, brought to life by a killer design team including architecture by Rawlings Architects, building fixtures, finishes, kitchens + baths by Ryan Korban and landscape architecture by Hollander Design.
Without giving away too much about the project before our final shoot and project launch in November, we wanted to share just a few deets + bts footage. We have a lot more to reveal about this one so stay tuned for the November Monthly Edit!
Let’s Talk New York … 5 Favorite Places To Eat
After every installation, I take the team out for dinner to celebrate the completion of our project. We ‘cheers’ to months of hard work, happy clients, good health, and to taking on the next challenge together. Here are my favorite places to go when we’re in the city:
Currently Obsessed With: Heart Necklaces
Let’s talk jewelry for a minute. Heart necklaces have been calling out to me, maybe because I <3 NY so much. Plus, spreading some love is always a good idea. As a minimalist, even when it comes to wearing accessories, I’m currently loving the simplicity and the message of a heart necklace. It’s simple, it’s happy and it spreads a message that makes you feel cozy, which perfect for this time of year.
For the Road: The Perfect Mix
As we transition into a new season I love to change up my face care routine. Right now, these are four products are my jam for keeping that summer glow.
Next on the schedule is a big staging project for an incredible estate in NY which we will be sure to feature in next month’s edit, along with some other great holiday styling tips…
See you in October!
