We were invited by This Old House and Greyrock Homes to shape the interior staging for the IDEA Dream House-an opportunity to approach a highly considered architectural project with restraint, clarity and intention.
Designed by Jamieson Architects and built by Greyrock Homes, the house balances modern country house architecture with a softened, livable sensibility. Our role was not to compete with the structure but to support it-bringing in warmth, proportion and material contrast to allow the architecture, light and landscape to lead.
When designing the layout for the furnishings, we kept it very linear and symmetrical in order to create separation within the large great room while still having it feel connected.
